Willie shoots me a wink. I smile, playing the confident showrunner. I’m conning them all and it’s working.

Three months earlier.

I’m lying in bed. The clock says it’s 1 a.m. PST, but I don’t trust it. My assistant, Eddie, has taken to setting my clocks ahead, and this could be his doing. I check my iPhone. The clock isn’t lying. In a couple of hours, the actors will show up on set in New York expecting script revisions.

I’m in a depression, and the weight of it lays on me like a sackcloth. In the days ahead I’ll realize that this was the shallow end of it; tonight will be my breakthrough.

New photos in the White Collar Online Gallery of Matt Bomer at the premiere of “House of Lies” last night in LA.

An NBC spokesperson confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that White Collar star Tim DeKay will play Sarah’s former CIA handler, as first reported by EW.
As Kieran Ryker on next season’s Episode 8, DeKay’s character will force Sarah to confront her past and life choices. Will her life as a newlywed spy for hire give her some second thoughts?

The role isn’t that much of a stretch for DeKay who has already played an FBI agent on USA’s White Collar for about three seasons. How different could the CIA be? Dekay has also starred on Party of Five and Carnivale.
